Making waves in the new "Art-Streams" to which we sail at the end of the century,

Pedro Bauzá firmly holds the rudder of our boat. This Puertorrican artist built his

first "camera obscura" at the age of seven and consequently fell in love with the

manipulations of the silver kaleidoscope. He was born in San Juan in 1967 and came to the

United States in 1984 and studied photography at Penn State Univ. and  Louisiana State University .

Pedro's images are soaked with mysticism and damped with surrealism. At the age

of thirty, he resides in Baton Rouge with his seven years old son.

Some of his work displays in galleries around Miami, Austin and New Orleans.

His commercial work has been published in most national publications and he is currently working on the

creation of a photography book consisting on the compilation of his "mystic" characters.
